BOOK DAY

This year we are working on fables to celebrate Book Day, Vanessa showed us a presentation on Aesop, one of the most important writers of fables. We also watched some videos and then we made different activities.

ST PATRICK'S DAY

On March 17th we celebrated St. Patrick's Day. Vanessa told us about the legend of St Patrick and its different symbols: the colour green, the leprechaun, the rainbow and, of course, the pot full of gold.
Primary 1 and Primary 2 made these beautiful pots.

O 17 de marzo celebramos o Día de San Patricio. Vanessa contounos a lenda de San Patricio e tamén nos falou dos diferentes símbolos: a cor verde, os leprechaun, o arco da vella e, por suposto, o caldeiro cheo de ouro.
Os nenos de 1º e de 2º fixeron estos bonitos caldeiros.

ROSALÍA'S DAY

VALENTINE'S DAY

We made different activities to celebrate Valentine's Day.

Primary 1, Primary 2 and Primary 3 made beautiful dogs and ladybirds out of hearts of different sizes and colous.

Primary 4 made a cootie catcher on Valentine's story and traditions.

Primary 5 and Primary 6 sang the song "Be my baby" by The Ronettes.

PEACE DAY 2014 POSTER

To celebrate Peace Day, Vanessa told us about the different Peace signs and symbols. After becoming familiar with the main ones, each Primary group made one sign or symbol and with all of them we made this beautiful rainbow.

Primary 1 made these beautiful peace doves. First, they painted the dove using q-tips, then they cut it and glued it on blue cardboard. Finally, they made the border using crayon shavings.
